Alumni Dinner
The Annual Calgary Alumni Dinner is a signature event and a highlight on Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School’s social calendar. This celebratory evening brings more than 250 alumni, parents of alumni, faculty, and staff together for an evening of camaraderie, reconnecting, and networking while honouring the year’s Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, and recognition of long-standing retiring faculty (15 years of service or more at STS).
With a community of over 10,500 alumni, parents of alumni, former faculty, and staff; the Annual Calgary Alumni Dinner is an opportunity to celebrate and strengthen STS’ unique vibrant alumni community. Alumni engage with the School in various capacities from volunteering at school events and on alumni association committees to mentoring students.
Don't miss out on this signature event and the opportunity to connect with your STS family. This year's celebration will take place on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Gasoline Alley, Heritage Park. Cocktails will be at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and program at 7:00 p.m.
This year STS is proud to honour Mr. Todd Worsley '88 as the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient.

Wine/Spirit Pull in support of Scholarship and Bursary Fund
We will be holding our annual wine/spirit pull at the alumni dinner again this year.
If you would like to donate a bottle (or two) of wine/spirits for this year's alumni dinner, please contact Brenda.Thompson@sts.ab.ca or 403.938.8318. In recognition of your kind donation, we will ensure that your name is mentioned in a selection of event print and/or electronic materials.
Here is how the wine/spirit pull works. All bottles of wine are donated and are at different price points. The fun of the game is that you COULD get a very nice bottle of wine/spirits for a reasonable donation of $25.00. We would like to collect 200 bottles for this year's alumni dinner. People who want to play, come and pay their money and then draw a numbered cork out of a bucket. Each cork corresponds to a bottle of wine/spirits, etc. You win the bottle that is numbered the same as the cork you draw. Everyone's a winner!
Wine/spirit corks will be available for purchase during the cocktail reception and dinner (or until we are sold out). Proceeds will go to the Scholarship and Bursary Fund.
