STS Grade 11 Panel Discussions with Alumni and Parents – April 24, 2019

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019 our Grade 11 students had the opportunity to participate in educational panels with STS alumni and parents, who are established in their chosen career.  The main focus of these panels was the path each alumnus and parent took to get to where they are now. It was abundantly clear that finding a career is most often not a linear path. The key message was that students ought not to put pressure on themselves to choose a career outcome in high school, but to choose the next step and see where it takes them. We very much appreciate the time that the many alumni and parents took out of their busy lives to share their experiences. The Grade 11 students really got a lot out of the day!
