We’ve all heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday which create a shopping frenzy – but have you heard of Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a day celebrated across North America where charities, companies, and individuals join together to share commitments, rally for favourite causes and think about others. More than 5,700 organizations across Canada participate, with the goal to create a national movement for giving at the start of the annual holiday season.
Since the launch of the Mills Alumni Challenge, your donations have been matched 1:1 and total $130,000 to-date. Today, on Giving Tuesday, we are calling on all alumni to help us raise the remaining $70,000 of the Mills Alumni Challenge. And to help do this, alumnus, Ray Mills '82, is matching all alumni donations to STS 2:1! That's right!
