STS Homecoming Celebration and Family Fall Fair 2018 - Another huge success!
The STS community came together Saturday, September 22, 2018 for the Homecoming Celebration and Family Fall Fair, which took place this year in the Sandy Heard Sports Center. This STS tradition, put on in partnership with the STS Alumni Association and POSTS, brought together alumni, alumni parents, and alumni staff along with STS families. There was definitely a buzz on campus and the record crowd thoroughly enjoyed the festivities.
We were treated to merchandise kiosks, a petting zoo, face painting, food trucks, games, campus tours, a Monster Obstacle course, and a beautiful art show. Our notable alumni, Maya Gohill ‘92 and Jan Jaffer ‘97, were recognized for their contribution to the STS community and for their impressive career successes.
STS would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to the Alumni Annual Events committee and POSTS Fall Fair committee for their help in making our fall fair the success it was. We would also like to thank the many parents, alumni, staff and student volunteers that helped out the day of the event.
In conjunction with the Homecoming and Family Fall Fair , class parties were held throughout the city – giving friends from graduating years ending in 3s and 8s a chance to reconnect. Thank you to the Class Representatives for organizing their class party.
The success of our Homecoming 2018 represents the strength of our ever-growing and vibrant community. Thank you to everyone for coming out!
