Grade 3 students use different tools to experiment with hearing and sounds
On Thursday, January 25, Grade 3 students were privileged to experience hearing and sound activities with our Senior School science teacher, Mr. Milne-Ives. Using tools such as pendulums, tuning forks and water bottles from the Senior School science labs, students were able to observe and participate in three different engaging experiments. Grade 3 students hypothesized and learned about concepts such as pitch, amplitude, frequency and how sound moves through various mediums from the knowledgeable, engaging and humoring Mr. Milne-Ive.
