I often experience moments when I feel so lucky to be a part of this wonderful school community. Wednesday, February 28 was another one of those times! On that day STS joined others across Canada to take a visible stand against bullying by wearing a pink shirt! Standing in the Rotunda or the Black Watch Bistro that day I was so thrilled to see that very close to 100% of our students, faculty and staff embraced the day by wearing pink. 
Pink Shirt Day highlights what we are promoting at STS – the power of the bystander. The silence of bystanders gives power to the bullies. No bully is strong enough to withstand the unified resistance of their peers.
Just another great day in a great school community.
