WIRELESS WEDNESDAY AT STS

On Wednesday, February 7, Middle School students were challenged to give up their cell phones for the day.  The Middle School Round Square students’ latest initiative was to raise awareness around technology use in adolescence.

Round Square students presented information on screen time use, particularly cell phones, and challenged their peers to connect face-to-face during the school day, rather than through their technology.  Students, who wanted to participate, turned their phones over to their advisor teacher during homeroom and then collected them at the end of the day.  Congratulations go to, 8A and 9C who tied for the highest participation in this event.  Each class only had one student that did not give up their phone for the day!
