Firstly, if we haven’t already met, we invite you to contact Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School so we can get to know you and your family. We’re excited to share information about our state-of-the-art facilities that support a diverse range of students. We’d love to show you more.

CONNECT WITH OUR ENROLMENT TEAM

STS welcomes the kind of new student who embraces challenges and opportunities, is curious about the world we live in, and is the first to put up their hands to volunteer.

We’re an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. That means we’re committed to providing challenging and unique programmes of education to develop well-rounded, competitive students.

Our teachers, learning strategists and counsellors work together for the same goal: to develop your child’s confidence, interests and ability to apply themselves with intention. And, like all of our alumni, your child will find lifelong friends and mentors here.

While the teachers always challenged me and pushed me, it was with love and care. - Robert Falcon-Oullette, Member of Parliament for Winnipeg Centre, class of '95

Our interdisciplinary approach gives students the desire and capacity to think critically. It’s a skill that helps them link their studies to practical applications in the “real” world, bringing them closer to achieving their dreams.

Our 100% university acceptance rate shows our students’ competency. Alumni report feeling confident and successful, which tells us that our students are well prepared for their next steps, whatever they may be.

We were really afforded the opportunity to do so many things and to become well-rounded people that contribute to society. - Nageeb Sumar Sumar, class of '97

The value of the STS education may be precisely what you are looking for, but we understand it can be cost-prohibitive. We don’t want that to be a barrier to your child’s education, so we’ve developed a Financial Assistance program. Bursaries are awarded on strictly a financial need, and our Forever Woods Scholarships are intended for those who not only reach their academic goals but also show a great deal of character development and natural leadership qualities.

If you’re ready to apply for admission to STS, please take a look through these pages. At first, some application tasks may seem daunting, but we’re here to help every step of the way.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us any time. You can submit a request for admissions information, give us a call or send an email.  We’re looking forward to knowing you better.

Warmly,
