Beyond the Horizon: A Black Watch Event

The Parents’ Organization of Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School (POSTS) is inviting all parents of current STS students to join us as we embark on an exciting journey Beyond the Horizon.

Like our founding namesake Lord Strathcona, whose driving of the last spike on the Canadian Pacific Railway connected our nation from coast to coast, Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School is setting its sights on the future while bringing our parent community together once again. 

The 2023 Beyond the Horizon: A Black Watch Gala is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your fellow STS parent community members while revisiting the golden age of steam travel. In addition to this magnificent in-person gala, there will be an online fundraiser for the entire STS community. All proceeds will go towards enhancing outdoor learning and wellness for all students in Kindergarten through Grade 12.

As a parent or guardian of a current STS student, you are invited to join us at The Royal Canadian Pacific Pavilion for an evening of celebration and face-to-face reconnection. Tickets will go on sale in the coming weeks, watch for more information on how to lock-in your reservation for this historic event.
