From our K-12 classrooms to the land we call home, from our trails and outdoor classroom to the Athletic Park we completed in 2026, STS has always been built by the people who believe in it. That tradition is one of our most enduring strengths.
A Legacy Built Through Giving
Generosity has shaped STS from the beginning. When the Cross family donated 160 acres of land to our founding schools, they set a precedent that continues today: STS is built not only through tuition, but through people who choose to invest in it.
For more than 50 years, that commitment has taken shape across campus. Anderson Hall was made possible through the Parent Participation Campaign. Our science labs were funded by the Quarter Century Campaign. The Arts Centre, outdoor learning spaces, playing fields, the Rose Elementary Wing, our school travel bus, trails, and equipment each reflect the support of our community.
Most recently, the Athletic Park, completed in 2026, expanded opportunities for track and field, soccer, rugby, and field hockey. Like everything before it, it exists because families chose to support it.
Why Giving Matters
Tuition covers the core of an STS education: our faculty, daily operations, and essential programming. But the spaces, opportunities, and experiences that make STS genuinely distinctive: the design labs, the outdoor classrooms, the specialized equipment, the scholarships that open doors, those exist because of the generosity of our community, past and present.

Where Your Support Goes
Every year, STS highlights areas of greatest need and opportunity. Our four giving priorities reflect what students, faculty, and families tell us matters most.
Programs, Buildings, and Infrastructure
Support for this priority funds the facilities and infrastructure that support learning, from lab upgrades and outdoor education equipment to major projects such as our Rose Elementary School and the Athletic Park.
Head's Initiatives
Flexible funding enables the school to respond to emerging priority needs, including updates to learning spaces and enhancements to student life.
Centre for Excellence and Innovation
Support for the Centre brings speakers, experts, and learning opportunities to faculty, staff, students, and the broader community. It reflects a commitment to lifelong learning and ensures that growth in practice and life long learning translate directly into the student experience.
