PRIVACY STATEMENT

Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School (STS) maintains and utilizes personal information from initial inquiries through enrollment until a student completes their education at STS. This includes day students as well as participants in other STS programs, such as summer school, summer camps, extracurricular and co-curricular activities, and STAND School.

STS is committed to meeting the standards established by Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

STS is responsible for maintaining and protecting personal information under its control and will take all necessary steps to ensure that all employees comply with policies and procedures governing the use of personal information and data at the school.  In addition, STS has appointed a Privacy Officer (privacy@sts.ab.ca) who is the first point of contact for privacy concerns.
