There are four key pillars every job hunter needs to master: resumes, information interviews, job interviews, digital footprint. Come prepared to learn, contribute and actively work on your job search process.
Course Outline:
Week 1: Resumes
Week 2: Information Interviews
Week 3: Job Interviews
Week 4: Digital Footprint: LinkedIn
Week 5: Putting it all together.
Gain confidence, devote the required time, focus your energy and adopt a purposeful approach with peers pursuing similar goals. Attendees who are actively applying the concepts should expect to put in minimum of 4 hours per week.
To register, please contact Brenda Thompson, Alumni Relations Manager, Brenda.Thompson@sts.ab.ca.

“Working with Linda was such a valuable experience. I had previously attempted facelifts of my resume and cover letter countless times over, but when she came in, I was able to see my accomplishments from a more strategic point of view. I’m a journalist, so my strength lies in words – she helped me find meaningful ways of quantifying my accomplishments in numbers.
Candid, experienced, and to-the-point, she is generous with her time and suggestions. You feel important because Linda truly wants you to succeed. After our first in-depth session, she was happy to look at my revised drafts and provide further feedback until the best possible version was achieved. Her expertise will set you apart from the rest – I can’t recommend Linda enough!”
– Laura, Master of Media in Journalism and Communication, Western University 2019
