Yee Haw! The Calgary Stampede is back in its full glory – including the Stampede Parade!!
We have secured 50 reserved-seating bleacher seats for the STS community the morning of the parade on Friday, July 8 and would love to have you, your family, and friends join us!

Never before has this kind of event taken place on the STS campus – but you only turn 50 once! All STS community members 18 years and older are invited to join us for an incredible evening of fun.
STS’s 50th Family Fun Day!
As part of our 50th Anniversary Birthday Bash weekend we welcome our STS community to join us for a family-friendly day of activities on the beautiful STS campus. This is a wonderful opportunity for our community, specifically children, to come together, have some fun, and celebrate our school’s birthday.
STS’s 50th Golf Tournament
Convince your buddies to join you for an enjoyable afternoon yelling “Fore!” at Sirocco Golf Club.
To kick-off our Big Birthday Bash Weekend, we are hosting an anniversary golf tournament which is open to everyone! All skill levels are welcome as the tournament will be held in the “best ball” style. Great prizes will be awarded at the dinner and there will be an opportunity to participate in some activities that will support the STS Scholarship and Bursary Fund.
Kite Making and Flying (Sold Out)
“Let’s go fly a kite up to the highest height”. The day will start with the making and decorating of your own kite, followed by a pizza lunch. We will then spend the afternoon flying kites around the spacious STS campus.
Observatory Evening at STS (Adults Only) for Alumni, Employees, Parents
Once again - STS reaches for the stars! Join us at the Observatory on the STS campus for an evening of gazing at the stars, the new moon, Mars, Jupiter, and the rings of Saturn!

Get ready for a crafty-licious party! You can never be surrounded by too many stuffed animals!
In this exciting and fun “Virtual Craft Party”, you will join STS faculty member Ms. Forgay for a Zoom evening as we meet an uncommon furry pair who will fill your hearts with STUFFED sweetness!
(Cancelled) Cross-Country Skiing/Snowshoeing at STS
The STS campus is a winter wonderland in January so we invite you to bring your friends and family for an afternoon of cross country skiing and/or snowshoeing. What a great way to spend an afternoon - frolicking in the snow. After we're done, you're invited to stay for hot chocolate, coffee, cappuccino, or tea - all served with cookies!
Calgary Hitmen ENMAX Teddy Bear Toss Family Event
Join us for the very popular Teddy Bear Toss which will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 2:00 pm at the Scotiabank Saddledome when the Calgary Hitmen host the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
