As part of our ongoing work to support our students, we had puppies visit on campus this week for our Senior School students. There has been an increasing trend in businesses and universities who are creating puppy rooms and these puppy rooms create a win-win situation: breeders often seek opportunities to socialize their puppies, whereas schools and businesses provide a space for students and workers to step away from the demands of their day, unplug and de-stress.
After feedback stating how positively these experiences decrease student stress, this is the third year that STS has provided “Playing with Puppies” for our students.
