Last Monday afternoon, thanks to the support of a generous donor, the Elementary School was thrilled to host the Calgary Opera’s Emerging Artists and their performance of “Nemorino and the Magic Potion”. Using the music of Donizetti with a modern twist, the Calgary Opera presented a comical story of a young man who hopes for the special power of being brave enough to talk to the girl he likes. Promises are made, potions bought and it all ends on the dance floor where the young man demonstrates a new courage never before seen. Thank you to our donor who has supported this program for many years, bringing great music to young ears and hearts.
